It's a gym. It's open 24/7. It has exercise machines and weights. Staff are friendly and there's a decent selection of free exercise classes. What more do you want?
Normally i go here in the night it is always clean and quite great for a focused workout.
A decent little gym tucked away in central Ilkley: despite its size it's fairly well equipped and rarely busy. There's enough of the things you need and a very solid weights section which so many gyms these days lack. There was nothing lacking for me to be able to do a cardio warm up and then a full body weights workout with barbells, dumbbells and various cables and machines. There's also a whole section for 'Crossfit' style workouts if that's your thing.The place is very new and as such all the equipment and decor is fresh and modern. For example, the rowers are water rowers rather than Concepts - really nice to use. The changing rooms are private and have a good shower, and there's helpful staff on hand.It's not the biggest or the most well known but it left me wanting little, and I really appreciated how clean and central it is. A dedicated bench press would be a really good addition rather than having to use the squat rack though.
