Good service with relatively fast waiting times
Always get a same-day appointment if I call first thing in the morning (and always get an appointment whatever time I call if if it for my child). Although there is sometimes a delay while waiting for my appointment, it is appreciated that appointments can over-run and some appointments are more urgent than mine. They have a good out-of-hours service too, even if that just involves referral to the out-of-hours service at a local hospital. One star deducted just because they do not let you see the same doctor each time - it would be nice to build a relationship with a doctor and have them understand my history.
COULDNT BELIEVE IT, my son suffered a bad epileptic fit at the weekend who hadn't had one in 5 or 6 years its a frightening thing to see.On Monday the 13th tried to get an appointment told them how serious this is his mum had to get a ambulance out and the best they could do was get him to see the doctor on the 31st OF MARCH ,over two weeks away. Finally on Tuesday went on a emergency list and got just a phone call instead .I am just lucky I go to Addingham Medical - great service there. NOT GOOD William Lang
Very good staff and fast service
Having posted this the practice rang me on time this morning. Problem fixed. V impressed ....I arranged a telephone consultation for 3:30pm this afternoon. It never happened. I called at 6pm to find out why and was told the GP had called me at "approximately 3:30pm at 12 noon. I did not attended the appointment according to their records. I was indisposed at 12 noon which is why I have arranged the appointment was at 3:30. What is more, after this mishap I have to ring again tomorrow morning at exactly 8am to get another slot. At least this time I shall be prepared for at call plus or minus 3 hours thirty minutes either way .... any time in a seven hour window - seriously not impressed guys.
